This was the Saints first home game in the Dome after Katrina in 2006. Green Day and U2 played. Feels like there was so much trauma in the early aughts.

It was really a devastating event for coastal MS and New Orleans. The months afterward were surreal and difficult,too. I have a piece about the aftermath submitted to a couple of journals right now. This time of year brings back all the memories.
