Well, hello, Albert (what a dashing young man he is)! And thank you for sharing the above song, which I love, and hadn’t forgotten, but hadn’t listened to in a long time. It’s lovely and will take me back to Crowded House. Thank you as well for the recommendations. I, too, love Annette Benning (just watched Nyad), and I’d been wondering about One Day. The other things you mentioned I’ll be sure to check out! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend; hope your garden is growing 🌸 Deb

Oh, didn’t you love Nyad? Tbh, I didn’t think it would be a film I would get into but I did. After seeing this I was totally in awe of Nyad, her perseverance, power, and accomplishments. Benning and Foster were magnetic in it. Hope you like the other recs!

I DID love Nyad! Benning and Foster were excellent. And I’ve always thought that Diana Nyad’s book would probably be a good read, a good, swift kick-in-the-pants encouraging kind of message. Thanks again for the recs!

I thought the same thing about Bacon. The scenes between Skip and Camilla were my favorites. So fun except the one in the woods where he takes off his shirt - sad. Robert Duvall had some zinger lines, too.

Yes! Too many years at a desk in the military and the church… my preferred place is at the round table in our home “office/library” or on the couch… with our cat Stella snoozing nearby 💖🐾

I hope if there’s a 3rd season it’s as good as the first two!

Thanks for the recommendations! We finished True Detective last week. We hadn't watched the first three; to be honest, I'm not interested. But I read a good review of Season 4 and signed up for Max just to watch it. I thought the acting was great all around, but, yeah, I'm a Foster fan :-)
