I loved reading this too, Charlotte. I totally agree with you re: the reasons we love things. In moving, I’ve let go of so, so much, and it’s been painful, yet some of it has been freeing. I too love photography, and now I’m turning to my photos, grateful that I have them to stoke the memories. Oh, and I absolutely love your prose poem about Grey, a beautiful tribute indeed. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece with your readers. Deb

Deb, so good to hear from you! I think of you & wonder how life is at your new place. I’m slowly purging stuff too because all the stuff is taking over my house! Yikes! Only two people live here but one is a pack rat. (Not me!) There is an essay in me about a pack rat living with a purger but I might never shut up. 😜

Such a beautiful and reverent tribute to the things we love, Charlotte.

I love all this love, Charlotte. Thank you for this sweet, personal rumination. You help me remember that, amidst all the questions of our human existence, there is an answer. Love as much as you can.
